A couple bloggers I read:
CDP
Joel's Sister
Onto FVT...
Title: Go (1999)
Cast: Katie Holmes, Tim Olyphant, Jay Mohr, William Fichnter
Why: Brought to you by the same guy that directed "Swingers" (Doug Liman), "Go" tells the same story from three different points-of-view. The first "view" gives you a good layout. The second adds to the overall background of the movie while the third wraps everything up in a nice little package. The film certainly isn’t groundbreaking (Pulp Fiction was more successful in telling it’s story through different perspectives) and, like "The Game" from last week’s FVT, no one is particularly great. This is a film that I originally saw during my senior year in High School and it has stuck with me since (over multiple viewings I might add).
Remote Stopper Scene: Man-Crush Alert!!! Any scene featuring Olyphant. That’s two man-crushes in two weeks. I know what you’re thinking. To answer you’re question, "Yes, I am married and yes, I do have three kids." Please, don’t worry about me, though. Olyphant is just won of those cool characters that you really shouldn’t like, but you do anyway.
Goosebump/Tear Factor: The Olyphant-Holmes scene when Olyphant quotes "The Breakfast Club". "The Breakfast Club" made my Top Five 80’s Movies list on my old blog, so to include something from that so subtly really stuck with me. I wonder how many people really picked up on the line?
Overall Rating: I haven’t seen Pulp Fiction in over 10 years, so I’ll save the long-winded comparison. I can’t imagine it being any better than PF, but at the same time, this movie didn’t really have many flaws. Considering that Scott Wolf ("Party of Five" fame) and Katie Cruise/Homles are involved, that’s saying something. I love the script, it features a man-crush, and the possibility of piss-poor performances is eluded. Also, the soundtrack features "Steal My Sunshine" by Len, and "New" by No Doubt. I’ll go with an 8 out of 10.

excellent choice!!! i totally loved this movie!!! i had forgotten that katie holmes was in it though...hmm? i loved the gay characters!! those two are funny as hell!!
and to answer your previous question, i've got alot of foreign movies on my netflix...motorcycle diaries, central station, in the city, kilo 0. i also have alot of independent movies on it. AND any movie with Angelina Jolie, yes i know she may not be a great actress but like you, i too have woman crushes and well she is one of them. the woman is hot!!!!
wait a second... you just said "didn't have many flaws about a movie that Jay Mohr participated in!?
As you know, I still haven't seen this movie so we'll have to make that happen on the next beach trip.
also, to anyone who reads this post- I actually KNOW Moe's wife and kids and I still question his sexuality. I have been known to have a man crush here and there, but let's just say Moe is the dirty whore of man crush holders.
Hi, Joel! How's your new job? I'm still adrift in a haze of underemployment (boyfriend's covering the groceries).
more man crushes and married with kids. seems like a down-low disaster waiting to happen. ;)

hmmmm? i agree with cc!!! heehhehee
Yeah...My wife is getting a little concerned. I voiced many of my man-crushes to her and she gets a little more creeped out each time.
Well, if any of your man-crushes match any of her crushes, you could always suggest having a threesome. Maybe then she won't be creeped out?
Which brings up a question, why are man-crushes mostly a bad thing, but woman-crushes are mostly a-ok?
JHD - Um...Let's clear up the mancrush issue...I in NO way want to "fornicate" these fine gentlemen on which I have a "crush". Threesomes featuring another man and my wife would be a bad thing...very bad thing.
wow Moe is so testy... I think the problem JHD is that Moe doesn't share well and would want his Michael Douglas/Tim Olyphantall all to his self!
